Our own Bureau Veritas authorized laboratory performs destructive mechanical tests (tensile and resilience tests) for the purpose of 3.2 certification of materials.
As a large part of Unio SA’s products are destined for the naval market, 3.2 recertification is made under the supervision of an inspector representing a naval register (Bureau Veritas, DNV, RMRS, ABS), depending on the client’s requirement.
A photogrammetric measuring system of the latest technology is used to measure the welded components. This makes it possible to measure and analyze very large components in three dimensions with the highest precision.
